Rampiva Supports Doctors Without Borders During Covid-19 Pandemic

As the world continues to focus on public health needs during the COVID-19 outbreak of the last eight months, the team at Rampiva felt it was also important to find a way to provide support. We are a global organization with employees spread across Canada, the United States, Australia, and Switzerland so we have been able to see the high level of care required to treat patients with COVID-19 and how it can challenge even countries with the most advanced health care systems.

Given these global circumstances and our internal commitment to not only change the world through harnessing data but to find ways to give back, Rampiva has chosen to support Doctors Without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontieres) during the pandemic. We made an initial donation of five percent of our April 2020 revenue to the organization.

Doctors Without Borders uses the donations it receives to respond to the coronavirus pandemic and other emergencies around the world such as the Beirut explosion or the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo. With regards to the coronavirus, the organization provides care for patients, offers health education and mental health support, and provides training for vital infection control measures in health facilities around the world especially in vulnerable communities.
